This is so great... love the parasol!
We actually didn't watch any TV for a year and a half after moving to Astoria because we decided to not install cable. It's weird how you don't miss it when you don't know what's on TV. We ordered lots of netflix though... I think it was a really good trade off.
Good luck with the move, and new job. I hope everything is going well! :)
p.s. our rental WAS month to month... so eh... what can you do?!
