    over the top...

You know how they call it a "Muffin Top" when your Belly Fat blubbers over the top of your jeans..? What I'm wondering is, what do they call it when your Calf Fat blubbers over the top of a cute pair of Nine West knee high boots..?

I'm thinking they call that, "time to get to the fucking gym."

    triple d's...

    Devastating...
    Depressing...
    Disgusting...

It's so mind numbing. The smoke has been so thick in and around where we live, it's just so surreal. The closest fire to us is less than 10 miles from here. Thankfully, we aren't in any imminent danger or know of anyone personally in danger, but being here during this tragic event has just put a hold on all joy. I feel stunted, like I can't move, or even see.
I think the smoke is clearing some today and hopefully by this time next week, everything will be calmed down and seem more normal... Whatever that is.

    boston red sox...

I know I've been extremely quiet this postseason, I guess because at some point I became superstitious about the fact that my team was losing... But once again, the Boston Red Sox made an incredible comeback. Down 3-1, they blew past those Indians to win 3 in a row to get themselves to the World Series. Each and every one of the "Idiots" helped along the way, did you see that final catch made by Coco Crisp? Dang. But I have to say my favorite player to watch is their star (rookie) closer; Johnathan Papelbon... Before beaning in pitch after pitch, he does this very funny "glare down" to the opposing batters, I crack up each time. He's very intense, but celebrates with cigars and goggles while wearing boxer shorts. It's a sight to see. Roger Clemens WHO? "The Pap" is IN! I can't wait for the Series, it should be some good tv.

Congratulations to the 2007 Boston Red Sox!!

    some neighborhood sights...

I'm sick of unpacking. No more boxes! Please? Just give me sunshine, outings and gorgeous views... Okay, so I'm taking full advantage of not working yet and I'm all about the exploring. Here's a few of my latest adventures...

I told you all I was a stalker... Last weekend I hunted down Tori and Dean's place.
I only hope I didn't ruin our chances of being guests of the B&B
I just know they thought I was one of the Paparazzi.
    The shame...

Work? I don't think I was meant to work...

don't hate me because I live by the beautiful sea...

We have a new zip code... It's 92677. That's in California for those of you who don't want to google zipcodesdotcom. We made it. In one piece. But barely. It's been a hell of a two week journey and we've had some uphill battles along the way; mostly due to trying to do too much ourselves, but we also had to deal with a faulty U*Haul truck, lame realtors trying to help us find a rental, arguing way too much and not being a team at times, being overworked, feeling completely overwhelmed, watching our savings drain out of our bank accounts, let's see, should I go on? I think not. The bottom line is I feel like I'm home. No complaining here!

The main news is we're here. It's been a long time coming, a dream for sometime and even though it didn't come easily, I am reminded that nothing worth waiting for (or working for, for that matter) is ever easy. I can tell you it's beautiful here, we're just 2 miles from the ocean and we're safe and sound, and I can't wait for the next chapter of our crazy lives.

Here are some snapshots I've taken along the way...
